This pretty little ski resort of Auron is nestled in the heart of the Mercantour National Park, located in the Aples-Maritimes. Parts of Auron date back to medieval times and many buildings have been lovingly restored. In 1937 Auron opened its doors as a ski resort for the rich and famous in the Cote d'Azur region. Even today the French have managed to keep this hidden jewel virtually to themselves. The open plan living area in the apartment boasts a cathedral ceiling with exposed beams and a mezzanine floor making it very spacious. The apartment comprises of an entrance hall with ski boot storage and coat rack, a newly refurbished kitchen, bathroom with separate WC, sleeping on the mezzanine and a dining/living area that opens out to a West facing balcony, catching the afternoon sun.
